Mona Lisa: An Immersive Exhibition Mona Lisa: An Immersive Exhibition

A unique experience has been created by The Grand Palais Immersif in conjunction with The Louvre's partnership with Grand Palais Immersif as they invite guests worldwide to enter an interactive environment full of sensory experiences exploring this great artist and his painting through a completely different lens. The first point for the guest's experiential journey of discovery will occur when he/she enters the exhibition space where the painting currently resides (Salle des États). Once the guest has viewed the Mona Lisa in a public space, they will follow up with a tour of works created by Leonardo Da Vinci during the Renaissance period in an effort to give guests the insight into why this work of art is so popular. The artwork has been digitally projected onto a massive screen so that they can both interact with each other by using body movements and touch each other, creating further opportunities for people to engage in this artist's work and gain some insight into what it feels like to be a member of this renowned artist's family. This will also give you the chance to connect with the artwork on a deeper level, look closely at each of the detail of the piece along with all that has transpired in association to it since it was created, finding out as much about the work as possible, including who created it and how they created the work of art.
